The bohemian (boho) wedding trend is set to continue in 2020.  I’ve seen a rise in brides requesting this seemingly effortless beautiful yet romantic make up look which has several different interpretations from a minimal makeup to a more smokey eye teamed with a beautiful dewy skin and rose pink lip. This bo ho- chic wedding style is free-spirited and draws influences from the hippie culture. Boho brides embrace this theme fully with their beautiful lace; airy embroidered dresses, moving away from the traditional veil for a more opulent flower headdress or flower crown (this theme is often bought together with giant oversized tipi’s or a romantic rustic barn) either way, it’s here for the foreseeable future and I’m so very happy

Get inspired with Chris and Rosie’s wedding back in June in Portloe, a jewel in the crown for the Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall. A true boho styled wedding full of rich colourful textiles, giant flags and a giant Tipi for good measure.

I loved everything about this makeup look, it was super natural with a healthy glow. I created a soft smokey eye from one of Charlotte Tilburys palettes, Exxagger eyes along with a Stila palette to really make those eyes pop. For the base I used an ultra light weight foundation mixed with flawless filter another one of my go to products when creating this type of glowy makeup look. A hint of pink on the cheeks to enhance Rosie’s cheek bones and a long lasting liquid lipgloss in pink by illamasqua for its longevity (now discountined).
